So, I just finished reading my first Danielle Steel novel. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I picked it up, just thought the cover was pretty cool. Haha. The overall story was quite unrealistic to say. There were many times where I go, “What the heck…” For one thing, the book mentioned many times that Jean and Wachiwi done ‘it’ many times. And throughout their journey to France, I was expecting some kind of announcement where she will be pregnant, like in every historical romance books, but it never happened. Then when she did it with his older brother, bam , instant preggy. I was like, really now? Also, the idea of loving Jean and then his older brother seems really odd, and maybe a bit incestuous. The book was a bit over the place and disjointed. The only good thing in this book was the story of Jean and Wachiwi. They were utterly cute.
